To become a SGAC member (regular or associate), both National Dues ($50) and Local Dues ($35) are required; total $85 plus PayPal fees noted above. The chapter will remit $50 to the JSU National Alumni Association on your behalf. The $35 Local Dues will be retained by the chapter to help support chapter initiatives, programs, and operational expenses. National and local dues cover your membership for one fiscal year (Dues expire on June 30 and are renewable on July 1 of each year). |
REGULAR members are those persons and its predecessors who has conferred a degree or anyone who has properly enrolled as a student at the university and has completed twenty-four (24) credit hours of resident work and left the university in good standing and is not currently enrolled as an undergraduate student and have paid the dues for the current fiscal year.
ASSOCIATE members are those persons who have not matriculated at the university, but have paid the appropriate dues for the current fiscal year and pledge their allegiance and support to Jackson State University. Associate members cannot hold constitutional offices. |

Regular membership is granted to anyone upon whom the University has conferred a degree or anyone who has completed at least twenty-four semester hours and has paid his/her annual membership dues. Associate members are those persons who have not matriculated at the university but have paid the appropriate dues for the current fiscal year and pledge their allegiance and support to Jackson State University. (Dues expire on June 30 and are renewable on July 1 of each year). The chapter will remit your dues payment of $50 to the JSU National Alumni Association on your behalf.

Life members are those persons who fulfill the requirements for the regular, or associate membership and have the paid the dues associated with being a “member" for life. If you are currently a Regular Member and would like to purchase your life membership, please submit the one-time payment of $550 (+fees) at any time. If you are interested in purchasing your life membership through an installment plan over 12 months, please contact the JSU National Alumni Treasurer at: treasurer@jsunaa.org
