Shortly, after the new Suburban Georgia chapter was chartered, she assumed the role of Atlanta HBCU Alliance Representative, then as First Vice President. When the chapter re-emerged in late 2021, she was elected President. Some of her objectives as President are (1) to help the university reach their enrollment goals through high school recruitment, (2) to unite JSU alums in the area and get them engaged in the chapter, (3) to raise scholarship funds for students and to provide emergency financial support to students in financial crisis, and (4) to enhance our university’s and the chapter’s role in the community by providing exemplary community service to cover suburban areas from south of Atlanta to north of Atlanta. |
